Camilla Webb Carter takes her inspiration from geometry and optical illusion. A graduate from Camberwell College of Art, she found a unique way in which to express her ideas through ceramics. CWC Ceramics started designing and producing architectural wall installations in 2011 and her practice continues to develop. She keeps finding new shapes and patterns to explore as three dimensional forms.
Her unique installations produce a tactile environment with a sense of movement and illusion. It is the overall composition of the ceramic pieces that produce bold and distinctive final artworks. The maximum impact of the ceramics is when they are arranged as a feature wall, an added interior decoration, in place of a painting or to adorn a particular feature within a space. As the pieces are modular they can be installed as smaller artworks or large scale installations.
CWC Ceramics wall installations are available for private and commercial commissions. CWC Ceramics can offer a bespoke service. We will work specifically to our clients needs to create unique works of art.
